If you like to be outside and active this is the job for you. Bonus: Most of the work is set your own hours and independent. So feel free to listen to all your music and podcasts while you work.
We offer Pick-Your-Own-Shift opportunities. We don't set a schedule and don't have expectations for how often you work.
Shifts can be as little as 2 hours of work and rarely are more than 4 hours. But that doesn't mean there aren't opportunities to work a full work week.
Sites are set in some of the most beautiful woodland and lakeshores. Also, most of the outdoor work is under the trees, not on hot pavement.
Many of the shifts are available to work alone at hours that work for you. So long as it's daylight!
Direct deposits right into your bank account weekly.
Goats are always happy to see you. It can be a nice change of pace to have 4-legged co-workers.
This is not like installing a wooden privacy fence. Our fences are just 15 pounds each and have step-in posts. View this video to understand how you'll be working with fences.
Pay is $15 an hour.
See a listing of all the zip codes we work in on our homepage. They are mainly north and east of Saint Paul. Typical locations include Hudson, Stillwater, Vadnais Heights, Little Canada, Lake Elmo, etc.
Work is available 7 days a week. We post a shift on WhenIWork.com and if you're available to work that shift you sign up for it. Many shifts are independent and can be done in when it works best for you (deadlines are common, however). There is not a weekly schedule and most shifts are posted the day before. You will never be assigned a shift!
Most of the work is not with the goats. But you may be working near them or helping us load them into a trailer. The goats are very fun to be around and make excellent co-workers but this work doesn't usually have much direct interaction.
There are no education requirements, no resumes, no cover letters, no long applications.
We'll make sure you know everything about the job to get you set up.
